Mission Teams are needed for 2008 to help transform the 
Smith Lake School into a new Center for Hope. 

Here is a list of some of the tasks teams will handle:

    Eastern Section including Roofing for 
    Four-Step Section of 40,000 square feet:
     1.  Repair cracks on east exterior wall 
     2.  Patch floor 
     3.  Remove carpets / Install floor tiles
     4.  Hang sheet rock, tape and sand 
     5.  Install new windows 
     6.  Install down spout splash 
     7.  Weld and repair entry doors on south wall 
     8.  Install new door handles and locks 
     9.  Install freeze-proof faucets 

     Material Needs:
     1.  25 tubes caulking
     2.  150 gallons interior primer and semi-gloss paint
     3.  Materials to patch floors
     4.  20,000 square feet of carpet
     5.  50 sheets of sheet rock [1/2” x 4’ x 12’]
     6.  50# sheet rock nails / screws
     7.  30 2 x 4 x 16 pine panels
     8.  Roofing materials to cover 40,000 square feet
     9.  Windows – Safety Wired Mash Plate Glass
          a. 3 each -- ¼” x 14 ½’ x 19 ½’ 
          b. 1 each – ¼” x 15 ½’ x 19 ½’ 
          c. 1 each – ¼” x 7’ x 25’
    10. 8 each down spout splash – 12” x 48”


     Southern Section:
     1.  Install safety wired mash plate glass – 4 each 7 x 39
     2.  Install freeze-proof faucets
     3.  Install new door handles and locks

     Material Needs
     1. 4 each 7 x 39 safety wired mash plate glass
     2. 2 freeze proof faucets
     3. 2 sets door handles and locks

     Western Section:
     1. Install outdoor security lights and outlets
     2. Install safety wire mash glass plates
     3. Weld and repair double entry doors
     4. Install handles and locks
     5. Repair utility doors 
     6. Install new ceiling light

     Material Needs
     1. 8 each -- Outdoor security lights
     2. 5 each security outlets
        a. Locks for entry doors
     3. Frame cast and lattice screen for utility doors
     4. Ceiling light

     Northern Section:
     1.  Install safety wired mash plate glass
         a. 2 each ¼” x 14 ½ “ x 19 ½” 
         b. 1 each 15 ½ “ x 19 ½ “

     Other Interior Work:
     1. Install lighted exit signs
     2. Install new alarm system
     3. Install 20 new ceiling lights
     4. Lower four ceiling heaters
     5. Install 4,000 feet of commercial vinyl base
     6. Install 40,000 square feet of drop ceiling
     7. Install new fire extinguishers

     Material Needs
     1. 6 each Exit signs 
     2. 20 new ceiling lights
     3. 4,000 feet commercial 4” vinyl base
     4. 30 tubes adhesive
     5. 40,000 square feet of dropped ceiling hardware and tiles
     6. 16 each new fire extinguishers

     Restrooms:
     1. Replace toilets
     2. Update toilet panels and doors
     3. Adjust urinals

     Material Needs
     1. 9 full size toilets
     2. 2 full size handicap toilets
     3. New toilet panels and doors
